I love the simplicity of the story and the ease of understanding the important life it is portraying. As a massive Disney and Pixar fan I was interested to learn about his funding into Pixar! I read this book to my god children and they were fascinated to learn about the man who helped create what are now everyday items that they sometimes use.
These books are inspiring and empowering to all children to show that no matter who they are or where they come from they can achieve anything. Briar's Reviews. I really do enjoy the illustrations in these books. They are unique and pull you into the story. The story itself gives you a brief glimpse into Steve Jobs' life through child friendly story telling. You get a very good introduction to Steve Jobs and his work, and it gives you enough to let you go off on your own if you want to book about steve jobs biography for children more.
I like the way these books works, as they give you just enough to feel informed but leave you with enough questions to be inquisitive well, at least I was. I think parents and educators will find these books to be useful tools to add to their educational toolbox. This book is also quite inspirational and gives kids a lot of hope for the future they might hold.

And yet these people shaped who we are, what we do and how we live. This series presents some of these fantastic men and women in a bite size way for children. Colourful illustrations and simple text provide a background of knowledge to provoke children to ask more questions and find out more. The books also prompt children to think of careers and dreams they may not have considered.
Steve Jobs was an extraordinary person. His career was varied but not immediately successful and this is a great lesson to children. Think differently. Take what someone else has done and see how you can add value and make it desirable. Break with tradition. These books have some really important lessons for children, but also teach them about different types of hero.

Book 2 of this collection - Steve Jobs, is as beautifully illustrated as Albert Einsteins story. I learned a lot from this book, never mind the children. This is the second in a series by Inspired Inner Genius.
The first book was Albert Einstein. And I hear Amelia Earhart is next! I honestly did not know much about Steve Jobs. I read this book with my grandson who is nine years old. We looked at the illustrations together. So that was fun to talk about! I had never heard of the blue box device for calling people free all over the country. That was one of his first inventions.
Steve Jobs had an interesting beginning to his life being adopted as a baby. My grandson enjoyed the part about him being the class clown. He liked that he was smart and creative. Steve Jobs worked with a good friend creating the first personal computer which became the first Apple Computer. They co-founded the company Apple together.
As often happens sometimes friendships that are based on a work relationship do end. Steve Jobs went on to create a new company and founded Pixar! He did returned to Apple and continued to work on a new invention called the iPod. I remember those! And of course we all know about the iPhones! At the back of the book is a concise biography of Steve Jobs and a photo of him.
On the very last page of the paper back book there is a barcode to scan and the web address of Inspired Inner Genius for a gift for purchasing the book. The illustrations are easy to understand. This is a book that could be easily read to children for teaching purposes or a young reader would be able to read it around 9 or 10 years old.

Definitiv kann man das Buch aber auch mehrfach lesen und immer wieder Neues entdecken! I have enjoyed this series of young biographies of famous scientists, STEM thinkers and inventors and pioneers, but there is throughout a feeling that these publishers are playing catch-up with them.
Despite the initial hardships, Steve remained optimistic and explorative. This combined with his passion for technology pushed him to create a company of his own. This company was none other than the Apple we know today, which has since then established itself as one of the greatest tech companies in the world. Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful, that's what matters to me.
